When The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills newbie Denise Richards married Aaron Phypers in September 2018, she didn't just gain a husband, but also another father figure for her daughters,Sam and Lola, whom she shares with ex-husband Charlie Sheen, as well as for her adopted daughter, Eloise.

And, as she previously revealed, Aaron plans to adopt Eloise too. In The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 9 After Show, she offered an update on where things stand in the process and why it's been difficult for him to finalize their plans.

She shared that the family lost many important documents in the California wildfires last year and so "it's a tricky process when you lose it. We're waiting for her birth certificate 'cause you need a birth certificate to say you want to adopt a child. But Eloise adores Aaron."

Denise reveals more about her family's current situation in the clip above.

Denise adopted Eloise as a single mom back in 2011. Previously, the RHOBH mom confirmed that Eloise has a chromosomal disorder.
