Why Dorit Kemsley Thinks Morgan Wade Is Involved in Her and Kyle Richards' Falling Out

Plus, see what new information Dorit Kemsley revealed about that text Kyle Richards sent her before the RHOBH Season 13 reunion.

Dorit Kemlsey and Kyle Richards hadn't spoken in months until the latter Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member broke her silence and texted Dorit just one day before the Season 13 reunion taping — a move that Dorit has since labeled "so manipulative" and "so calculated."

Now, she's shedding new light on the matter as well as the overall demise of her and Kyle's friendship — including how Morgan Wade may have played a role.

Did Morgan Wade come between Kyle Richards and Dorit Kemsley?

Dorit recently expressed her belief that the comments she made about Kyle and Morgan's bond on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen in December may have been responsible for her and Kyle's falling out.

At the time, Dorit said, "I feel like the closer [Kyle] got to Morgan, the further she got from me."

More recently, on the March 13 episode of The Skinny Confidential Him & Her Podcast, Dorit said that particular remark "upset [Kyle] in such a way, and I still don't really understand why."

"She just decided to not speak to me, and she was enraged," Dorit added, explaining that Kyle "didn't even answer" a "really nice text message" she sent upon hearing about Kyle and Mauricio's separation.

Why Dorit Kemsley Brought Up Kyle Richards' Text on the Reunion

Dorit went on to note that she was also upset when Kyle accused her of "exaggerat[ing]" their friendship," admitting, "That was hurtful as it could possibly be."

"Lo and behold," Dorit continued, Kyle finally broke the silence between them "just before the reunion."

"To me, it was very calculated and very manipulative and it really, really upset me. You don't respond to a message, you went publicly and said that our friendship is not that big and not that great, and then the day before the reunion, you send me a message and it was saying 'Oh, let’s not mention anything here,’ and, ‘Let’s stick together,'" Dorit explained. "It just felt like an even bigger slap in the face."

So, Dorit expressed her feelings to Erika Jayne while backstage at the reunion. "I’m not a doormat and I'm not a wallflower," Dorit added on the podcast. "Yes, I have a kind heart, but I really care about you and I really believe that we’re friends. This is not the way you treat a friend."

Plus, Kyle's text "didn't have any information" that was sensitive, Dorit reasoned. "Anything that Kyle confided in me, I would never share, no matter what. This is a message that had strictly to do with our friendship and the reunion."
