Kyle Richards Defends the Text She Sent Dorit Kemsley Before the Reunion: "It Was Not Meant to be Manipulative"
Plus, see what led RHOBH reunion host Andy Cohen to side with Dorit Kemsley.
Dorit Kemlsey revealed in a preview for Part 1 of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 13 reunion that after months of not speaking, Kyle Richards reached out to her just one day before they were set to come face to face.
The method of communication? A lengthy text — one that Dorit ultimately labeled "so manipulative" and "so calculated."
Kyle, however, had a different viewpoint, and she explained her side of things when the complete first part of the RHOBH Season 13 reunion aired on February 28. See what Kyle had to say and get more details on Dorit and Kyle's friendship drama by scrolling below.

Kyle Richards on the Text She Sent Dorit Kemsley One Day Before the RHOBH Season 13 Reunion
As Kyle and Dorit were going back and forth about some of the issues they've had in recent months, Dorit brought up Kyle's text.
"I know your nature," she began. "If I say something that upsets you, you're a punisher, you'll shut me out. We hadn't spoken in a couple of months and then all of a sudden you text me the day before the reunion. Do you really think that I'm an idiot?"
"It felt very manipulative," Dorit added. "It's not like I'm gonna come here and try to destroy you."
Kyle then explained that wasn't how she wanted her text to be perceived. More specifically, she said, "It was not meant to be manipulative in any single way."
Kyle Richards on Dorit Kemsley's Comments About Morgan Wade
Kyle and Dorit aired out their grievances with regards to several subjects, including Kyle's hurt feelings over some of the comments Dorit made about Morgan Wade in her confessional interviews on RHOBH Season 13.
Many of these remarks, Kyle said, felt like they came "at my expense."
"You knew that by saying something like that, it was gonna create a bigger problem for me in the media with the whole Morgan situation," Kyle added.
Dorit's response? "Kyle, the Morgan situation has been in the media, and it was not because of my comment."
Dorit Kemsley on Kyle Richards' Claim She's "Exaggerating" Their Friendship
Dorit, on the other hand, was upset with Kyle for what she saw as her downplaying their friendship. As RHOBH fans may recall, Kyle said in January that Dorit's complaints about their friendship — and how deep she considered their friendship to be overall — were "an exaggeration."
"That stung," Dorit said of Kyle's word choice at the reunion.
Replied Kyle, "I said that in response to all of the things that you had been saying throughout the season ... such as, first of all, [asking] about my marriage on camera when we are good friends. And then there was the 'I feel like I was replaced by Morgan...'"
What's more, Kyle said she could "count on one hand" the amount of times they've "ever had lunch without filming."
This particular remark prompted reunion host Andy Cohen to chime in and note, "I got the sense you guys were hanging out a lot outside of the cameras."
"We were," Dorit said. "That's my point."
Kyle continued to insist they "don't have that kind of friendship," but ultimately concluded, "That does not mean you are not important to me. You are very important to me. I love you very, very, very much."
Stay tuned for more to come between Dorit and Kyle on Parts 2 and 3 of the RHOBH Season 13 reunion.
