Did Teresa Giudice Ask Dolores Catania For Any Advice Before She Went to Prison?
The Real Housewives of New Jersey mom opens up about their friendship and her expertise on the matter.
When it came time for Teresa Giudice to serve time in prison back in 2015, The Real Housewives of New Jersey mom could have gone to her pal, Dolores Catania, for some advice. As you might recall, Dolores' previous occupation was as a corrections officer at a New Jersey prison.
Though, as it turns out, Teresa did not seek the opinion of her pal ahead of her stint. And, Dolores explained why, during an appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen on Wednesday. "I saw her the week before, this is why [I didn't give her any advice]. You want to know why?" she said (Dolores has previously hinted to the fact that this isn't a topic the women are quick to go deep on when they are together). "She really didn't think she was going."
In the video above, Andy Cohen offers his own recollection of that time, even referencing his pre-prison lunch with Teresa, which he discussed with The Daily Dish back in November 2016. "I wanted to have lunch with her because I didn't know if I would ever see her again, frankly," he said. "I didn't know if she would be coming back to the show, if we would be waiting to do the show until she came out."
You can hear more from Andy about that encounter, below.
