Diddy Has an Explanation for His #DiddyCrop Photo Magic
The Sean John mogul told Ellen DeGeneres that it's not his fault.
Diddy loves to be in the spotlight, and he's not afraid to point out when he's a little miffed about being rather ignored, like when people totally forgot that he performed at the Super Bowl with Justin Timberlake and Janet Jackson in 2004.
"First of all, I wanna say that I'm still upset at that Super Bowl because I put like six months of my life into the preparation and then nobody knew I performed," the Sean John mogul recently admitted on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen.
So Diddy probably totally understands that some of his friends might be upset that they have been cropped out of some of his pictures on social media, a technique that has come to be known as the #DiddyCrop. Kendall Jenner and Kylie Jenner were on the chopping block for a large group photo taken at last year's Met Ball and rappers Fabolous and Khloe Kardashian's ex French Montana were recently cropped from a photo Diddy posted with Jay-Z, Kendrick Lamar and Nas and captioned "3 Kings!"
But Diddy says someone else is responsible, not him.
"I take a lot of pictures with a lot of different celebrities because we're all family and stuff," he said in an interview on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. "Sometimes my photography editor — he doesn't let me know when he's taking people out of the pictures. I just found out about this."
So don't take it personally, Diddy pals — it's just art.
