Dolores Catania Confirms Son Frankie Has a Special Someone in His Life: Get the Details

Listen up, ladies: Dolores Catania has confirmed that while her hunky son, Frankie Catania, has a special someone in his life, he is, in fact, currently single. We'll let her explain.

“Frankie is so single that he just adopted an old dog from a shelter because he was so lonely," The Real Housewives of New Jersey mom told Page Six about her son's relationship single status. She noted the dog is a rescue that belonged to a man who passed away and didn't have anyone else to take in the pet.

“It’s not fair for me to have a girlfriend because I don’t have time for her so I want an older dog just to spend time with me in my apartment," she added about the pooch in Frankie's life.

As for why he isn't focused on dating, she explained it's because he's all about his career these days. “Frankie is very conscious of the fact that because of the line of work that he is going into — investment banking — that’s 16 hours a day … he can’t give a girl what she needs right now,” she said.

Still, that doesn't mean that Dolores and BFF Teresa Giudice haven't ruled out Frankie and Gia someday getting together “down the road" after they went to her senior prom together last year. “Timing is everything," she said.
