Does Kim Zolciak-Biermann Approve of Brielle's Lip Injections?
The #DontBeTardy mom reacts to her daughter's cosmetic procedures.
Brielle Biermann sparked everyone's attention when she posted a video of herself getting lip injections from famed Beverly Hills plastic surgeon Dr. Simon Ourian last November. She noted, at the time, that she wanted them because her lips are her "biggest insecurity." Considering her mother Kim Zolciak-Biermann has been open about her own cosmetic procedures, was she supportive of her 19-year-old daughter getting work done?
“She bothered me for five years about her lips. She was like, ‘I hate my lips, I hate my lips.’ So I’m like, then go fix them! You only go around this planet once. If it makes her happy, so be it," the Don't Be Tardy mom told Us Weekly.
Still, Kim can't help but worry about how folks are going to react on social media when her daughter shares news like getting lip injections with the world. “She is a leader, not a follower. Social media sucks. It’s been difficult," Kim said. "I try to monitor my girls’ accounts, but Brielle is 19. But she can handle it better. She has confidence."
Plastic surgery has been a hot topic as of late with Kim, who recently addressed going under the knife to change her appearance. "I had a boob job and I've had a hernia fixed," she said in a recent interview with E! News. "I had a pretty big hernia from the twins, so I said just do a tummy tuck, which is kinda the same thing, just make the skin really tight. But that doesn't change my size. I'm the same size I was the day I walked into surgery, I'm just a little bit tighter looking."
She added that because she is on TV she is willing to be honest with her fans. "I chose a life of reality television, which is an open book, so I share with people what I've done. There's no secrets," she said. "I want women to feel as beautiful as I feel, and so, with that said, it's not all natural. My boobs aren't natural. I had great boobs until I breastfed Brielle and then they just shriveled up to B raisins. They were horrible. So I must fix them."
