Malia White Reveals Whether She Wants to Marry Tom Checketts

Following Hindrigo “Kiko” Lorran’s departure from The Wellington on the August 3 episode of Below Deck Mediterranean, Captain Sandy Yawn asked Malia White’s boyfriend, Tom Checketts, to fill the role of chef.  On the August 11 episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, Malia revealed what it was like to work alongside her boyfriend. 

“I should have asked you this earlier, but I’m assuming the two of you are still together, right?” Andy asked in the video above. 

“Yes, yes. Definitely,” Malia confirmed. “We’re back to long distance, though.” 

But when asked if she was “super psyched” to have Tom join her for a few weeks of work, Malia was slightly less enthusiastic. 

“To be honest, Andy, no, I wasn’t,” said Malia. “Having done the show once and having relationships on the show, I wasn’t too stoked to bring a guy that I’m pretty serious about on the show knowing how much can happen and the feedback we get. No, it was not a nice decision for me.”

Malia then shared some insight on the future of her relationship when Andy asked if she thinks the couple will ever tie the knot. 

“I don’t know. I’m not a huge fan of marriage,” Malia said. “But yeah, I want to be with him as long as I can.”
