Dolores Catania is known for having an eclectic and impressive resume.
Now, for her latest career step, Dolores is revisiting real estate — and she wants Paulie Connell to join her in the latest endeavor.
“I’ve got a house to show this week … I love real estate,” Dolores told Paulie in a new episode of The Real Housewives of New Jersey, airing Sundays at 8/7c on Bravo.
“I think it's something nice for us both do together, because you can help me look,” Dolores added. “You have an eye for it.”
What is Dolores Catania's job?
Dolores has been returning to a career in real estate since 2023.
In a preview for Season 14, Episode 2, Dolores is seen busily working away at her laptop.
When Paulie asked her what’s up, she told him she’s “just finishing up her CE credits to make sure I’m up to date. I have a house to show this week.”
“Good for you,” said an encouraging Paulie.
You know I can never not work,” Dolores added. “I’ve always got to keep busy. I love real estate.”
She revealed she also likes the idea of working alongside Paulie on her return to real estate.
“I think it's something nice for us both do together, because you can help me look,” Dolores said. “You have an eye for it.”
Paulie then teased, “So the catch is I do your job.”
Beyond the gentle joking, it's clear that her independence has been on Dolores’ mind.
“I moved in with Paul almost a year ago but I still consider myself to be a very independent person,” Dolores said. “So getting back into real estate feels very natural.”

She recalled being in the business long before with ex-husband Frank Catania.
“I flipped houses with Frank. I know the business," she pointed out. "It’s like picking up where I left off.”
Dolores acknowledged that there have been times in her life when she’s struggled with being dependent on others, which is why this is so meaningful for her.
“I was in a place one time where I didn't have financial independence and I didn't like it,” she said. “Ever since my divorce [from] Frank, being self-sufficient has been so important to me.”
Paul is on the same page with Dolores on this vital matter.
“I’d rather see you independent,” he said. “I think it's very important.”
Beyond the personal lift that comes from being in charge of one's self, Dolores appreciates the fact that real estate means she’s involved in others’ lives in a significant way.
“I love being a part of the start to somebody's life,” she said. “And I like when people trust me — that's a big thing.”
