Dr. Contessa Metcalfe Reflects on Turning 45: “I’m Eternally Grateful”
The Married to Medicine cast member revealed what she’s most thankful for on her birthday.
Dr. Contessa Metcalfe is opening up about what she’s most thankful for on her birthday. The Married to Medicine cast member recently took to Instagram to reveal how she’s feeling as she turns 45.
On June 4, Dr. Contessa commemorated her birthday by sharing her gratitude for her family on Instagram. The proud mom posted a sweet throwback photo of her three kids, daughters Lauren and Laila and son Landon, as babies.
“I am eternally #grateful for being blessed with #45 years on this earth,” she wrote in the caption alongside the precious snapshot. “These precious beings God placed in my care remind me God has #blessed me with more than I need and I’m doing #BetterThanIDeserve.”
Dr. Contessa went on to thank her friends and followers for their birthday wishes, writing, “Thank you all for taking time out of your busy lives to send me your kindness and well wishes today on my birthday! Remembering me today means the world to me!”
She concluded the touching message by adding hashtags that read, “I already have my gift” and “not taking anything for granted.”
Her birthday isn’t the only special occasion that Dr. Contessa and her family have marked recently. Earlier this month, she and husband Dr. Scott Metcalfe also celebrated their 16th wedding anniversary.
“#HappyAnniversary to the magnificent man and father who chose to spend his life with me 16 years ago!@drscottmetcalfe knows I would take a bullet for him with no hesitation!” she wrote on Instagram at the time.
