Mariah Huq Explains Why She Still Hasn't Shown the Receipts on Dr. Heavenly Kimes' Husband

"That's not the road I want to go down with Heavenly or anybody else — even though she deserves it," the Married to Medicine wife said.

Why Didn’t Mariah Huq Bring the Receipts on Dr. Heavenly?

We're always looking forward to a Married to Medicine reunion, but last season's sit-down was especially highly anticipated. That's because we were hoping those receipts Mariah Huq claimed she had after alleging that Dr. Heavenly Kimes' husband, Dr. Damon Kimes, had been unfaithful to her would finally be presented.

How to Watch

Watch Married to Medicine premiering November 24 on Bravo. Now streaming on Peacock and the Bravo App.

Unfortunately, we still have yet to see those receipts. Though Mariah said she had the alleged evidence back in her dressing room with her husband, Dr. Aydin Huq, for safe keeping, she did not bring them out during the reunion.

Mariah explained why during her appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen Sunday night. "The truth of the matter is this is a show about medicine, but it's about family first. So as evil and bad as Dr. Heavenly is, I love Dr. Damon," Mariah said. "I don't want to do anything. And I think karma is a bitch. I'm a married woman, and I'm not in the business of breaking up households or being messy. I really ain't. And I'll be messy if you come for me. So I didn't bring the receipts because I like Dr. Damon."

Mariah shared a similar sentiment during an interview with The Daily Dish in New York City the day after her WWHL appearance, saying that if we do ever see the receipts, she "won't be the one doing the audit."

"It's not because I don't have them; it's just that's not who I am. I'm married, the show is supposed to be about family, that's why I started it, and I don't want to be a part of tearing people's families apart. That's not the road I want to go down with Heavenly or anybody else — even though she deserves it," Mariah said. "I hate that I even went to that place with her, I really do."

For the record, Dr. Heavenly has never believed that these receipts exist or that her husband has been unfaithful to her. "I've known this man more than half of my life. I know when he lies. I know who he is. If he had done it, he would be man enough to say it. I know that for sure," she told The Daily Dish in October 2018, adding that she's ready to "tear" apart any receipts Mariah says she has.

Dr. Damon also denied the rumors at the Married to Medicine Season 6 reunion. "I was hurt because I think I've been extremely kind to Mariah. I think I've been supportive," he said of her allegations. "I usually kind of believe in 'you reap what you sew,' and I don't think I reaped anything bad."

Mariah told The Daily Dish that she now regrets ever bringing up the rumors and the receipts about Dr. Damon. "I do, because you just can't let people take you to a place you don't want to go. That's not where I want to go," she said. "I mean, I went low, but I'm back high again."

But one thing Mariah definitely doesn't regret is the sassy way she first brought up the rumors about Dr. Damon with that unforgettable saunter. "The receipt walk was everything," she said of the Season 6 moment.

Jaws will be dropping in an all-new episode of Married to Medicine Sunday at 9/8c. Check out a sneak peek, below.
