Eliza Limehouse shared one very scary experience from her past during an intimate chat with her dad this season on Southern Charm. During the conversation, she recalled a near-death experience she had in which she and her then-boyfriend Don almost boarded a plane that later went missing and crashed.

How to Watch

Watch Southern Charm on Peacock and the Bravo App.

“Cheating death is the weirdest feeling I have ever felt," she noted in the episode, recalling how Don forgot his passport and they missed the flight on the private plane in September 2018. She added, “Makes you appreciate your life one million times more."

It was that moment that bonded Eliza and Don, who fans may recognize from his short-lived stint on another reality show. As it turns out, Don Capodanno appeared on Season 4 of The Bachelorette and tried to win DeAnna Pappas’ heart, but was eliminated after one episode.

Interestingly enough, Eliza isn't the only Southern Charm pal with a connection to The Bachelorette. Austen Kroll's cousin, Will Haduc, appeared on JoJo Fletcher's season of the reality show. Small world, indeed.

By the way, Eliza confirmed to Decider that she did bring Don around while she was filming her debut season on Southern Charm, which means fans may get to see him pop up on the series. She also added how the experience bonded them together while they were dating.

“I still to this day have survivor’s guilt. Cheating death is the weirdest feeling. It was horrible. And that’s when [Don and I] got serious because we were like, ‘Holy hell, we almost died together,’ and we realized that we really liked each other," she told the outlet.

You can follow Eliza's journey during Season 6 of Southern Charm every Wednesday at 9/8c. Preview what's to come, below.
