The RHOC mom shares which family member won't leave her side as she recovers.
Emily Simpson is home after having hip replacement surgery on October 28.
The Real Housewives of Orange County mom, who suffers from arthritis, previously said of the scheduled procedure, "I’m nervous, but beyond excited about finally being able to move pain free. The 'new' Emily can’t wait to run, jump, workout, walk a catwalk and dance!!"
Now that Emily's had the surgery, she's sharing how everything went and how she's currently feeling. In her Instagram Story, she revealed that following the surgery, "I got up and walked to a chair. Not gonna lie. The pain is way worse than I anticipated."
She then discussed how it's going being home and continuing to heal. In her Instagram Stories, she explained that she's currently using a walker. Luckily, she has plenty of company: her pup and daughter Annabelle are currently by her side. "She won't leave my side. She's so worried about me," Emily wrote of Annabelle.
And Emily has big plans for after she heals: She said she hopes she can return to the Las Vegas stage for another performance after her surgery.
