The Season 10 premiere of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills has introduced the world to two newcomers: Sutton Stracke and Garcelle Beauvais. Although RHOBH fans are just getting to know the ladies now, the cast members have been spending quality time with them for months. But how did they feel when they were first introduced? Erika Girardi spilled the tea on what she thought about newcomer Sutton when she appeared as a guest on The Daily Dish podcast.
Erika and Sutton bonded over the fact that they’re both from the South. Although they’re Beverly Hills women now, both women originally hail from Georgia. Erika is an Atlanta native, and Sutton was raised in Augusta.
“Well, Southern, I mean... Sutton, has impeccable manners, and she’s really a quintessential Southern lady,” Erika said of her first impression of the newcomer. “She’s very well-raised, and you know, she’s opinionated, and it’s kind of fun. She’s very Southern, and it’s nice. It’s nice to feel that."
Erika also has something special in common with Garcelle. They both have sons who are in their mid-to-late twenties. When asked if she felt a bit more connected to Garcelle after finding out she had a son close to Erika’s son’s age, Erika explained, “Of course. You always do. It’s like Kyle with Farrah, you know?”
