We Just Learned Something Jaw-Dropping About Tom Girardi's Life Before Erika
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills husband has a "true Hollywood" past.
We don't get to see Erika Girardi's husband, Tom Girardi, as often as we'd like on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, but when he does make an appearance, he really knows how to steal the show.
The 90210 squad sat down with the Girardis at their Pasadena palace when Erika hosted an astrology night with her friends in the May 20 episode of RHOBH. They got to talking about their homes when Kyle Richards shared a tidbit about her house that was built in 1882. "The people who built the Beverly Hills Hotel brought it by trolley to live across because they were building a house for John Wayne close by," she said.
That jogged Tom's memory about his own connection to the Duke. "I went to high school with Pat Wayne. We had grad night there from high school, and we're drinking beer," he recalled. "About one in the morning, in comes this big guy, John Wayne."
The film legend asked the boys, "What the hell is going on?" But then he eventually left, and Tom remembered exclaiming, "That was him! That was him!"
"Wow, that's true Hollywood," Lisa Rinna said of Tom's story.
But wait, there's more! Tom said that Pat Wayne even got Tom a part in a western while they were in high school. "So I got shot off the roof and fell down," Tom said, which was followed by a question from Dorit Kemsley, "Did you have a stunt double?"
"No, it was all me," Tom said with a laugh.
And we thought Tom couldn't get any more iconic.
