Does Erika Girardi Think There's a Place for Girl Power and "Sticking Up For Yourself"?
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills singer takes a look back at her beef with Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave.
Erika Girardi and Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave have had a bit of an uphill climb towards anything that even resembles a friendship this season on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. You really need to look no further than the "amnesia" moment for some proof on how they haven't exactly seen eye-to-eye upon Teddi's entrance into the crew. In the wake of the incident, Erika did issue a mea culpa. Then, Teddi reflected on the apology in her Bravotv.com blog, writing, "I am accepting of and grateful for Erika’s apology and am willing to move on and be cordial in return," but still questioned her stance about building women up. Now, Erika wants you to know she can still be all about girl power and also stand up for herself.
"Sometimes you have to stick up for yourself and being powerful is sticking up for yourself sometimes. And it's not always nice," she shared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen this week.
Given the tensions between Erika and Teddi this season, and the division between Erika and Dorit Kemsley in her rookie season back in Season 7, one WWHL caller wanted to know if the singer has issues with the new 'Wives. Her answer is characteristically sassy, as you can see in the video above.
And you can find out what's next for Erika and the rest of the crew every Tuesday at 9/8c. Check out a preview, below.
