When Season 10 of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills kicks off on April 15, the West Coast crew will find themselves on the East Coast, specifically in New Jersey. You see, Erika Girardi took it upon herself to take some of the ladies to the Garden State go-go club, Shakers, she once worked at as a young woman trying to get her break in show business (as featured in the preview clip above).

"Well, it’s 30 years later, so it’s many lifetimes. I think it’s interesting when you find out things about people. I’d written about this in my book," the woman also known as Erika Jayne told The Daily Dish ahead of the premiere. "But taking them there, and actually smelling and seeing and feeling the place is a whole ‘nother experience and, you know? I’m happy to have done it and I’m happy it’s over and you know, it’s a story. You know? It’s one of those stories that you can tell about your life."

Erika has shared several personal aspects of her life, past and present, both during her time on RHOBH and in her 2018 memoir, Pretty Mess, including her complicated relationship with her mom, Renee, as well as her life as with a son who is a police officer.

And with Season 10 upon us, she noted, "I think that every year, you should learn something new or become a little bit more invested in the stories of the women’s lives. I mean, this is simply another part of my life that I’m revealing," she noted about the reveal in this season's premiere.

Still, she noted it's not always easy being that open and vulnerable with the world. "Well, sure. I think that all of us –- I think I can speak for everyone that when you open up, you don’t know how it will be taken," she said. "Some people will understand exactly your point of view, and some people will never get it and it’s those that you — that understand and — and get it that you’re most interested in."
