Fredrik Eklund Shows the Sweet Way He's Teaching His Kids About "Running a Business"
The Million Dollar Listing alum is already sharing his business knowledge with his twins, Milla and Freddy.
As Fredrik Eklund is proving, it's never too early to learn about running a business.
On February 11, the Million Dollar Listing New York and Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles alum shared an Instagram Story photo that showed how he was teaching his 6-year-old twins, Milla and Freddy, a valuable life lesson.
According to the sign in Fredrik's photo, the newly-blonde real estate pro was helping his little ones sell "the best ice cream in the [world]" for $1 per cone. "Today we are setting up a small stand on the beach to sell stuff so the kids learn about running a business," Fredrik wrote in a caption on the Story. "The ice cream pack cost $5 to buy for us and have 12 cones in it so the profit will be $7 and they have to reinvest it in the business."

Where does Fredrik Eklund live?
In July 2023, Fredrik announced that his family was relocating from Beverly Hills to Miami. "My business is expanding quickly in Miami and the twins got into one of the best schools there for the Fall," he wrote. "[My husband] Derek got a super cool art studio in the Miami Design District too.”
“We’re so [excited] for this new chapter,” he continued. “I do need to be closer to New York where the business is bigger than ever.”
One month later, Fredrik reflected on the big move. “To be honest with you our very first week in Miami has been overwhelming,” he began the post, which included photos of Milla and Freddy in their new home. “Moving across the country is a lot. Derek has been back in L.A. overseeing the furniture move to our house in Connecticut, and I foolishly thought I could do the first week here and the kids' new school alone without a nanny.”
However, he was still thrilled about his family's new location. "But in all the big moving - and transition stuff there’s been a lot of beautiful emotions too," he wrote. "Taking the kids and sending them off to their first day of school in their little uniforms (I didn’t cry!), endless sunrises and sunsets over the beach, Pura Vida’s açaí-bowls in the tropical heat, the animals at Jungle Island, the love from everyone here welcoming us and so many new people to Miami in general like us, tons of big listing appointments all week and several new developments on the beach in the works (real estate is truly booming here like nowhere else) and all in all such an exciting new chapter."
