Garcelle Beauvais has been plenty busy during self-quarantine, juggling her many projects with her everyday mom duties — and it looks like her kids are following her lead when it comes to staying productive. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member recently revealed that her 12-year-old son, Jax, picked up an amazing new skill in self-isolation.

How to Watch

As Garcelle shared in an interview with SheKnows, Jax put his time in self-quarantine to good use by learning a new language. “My son Jax is really into anime, so he’s reading that and he taught himself how to speak Japanese,” she stated.

As if that wasn’t impressive enough, Jax is continuing to study the language, even after kicking off a new school year earlier this month. “Now we got him a tutor, and he really loves it,” Garcelle explained. “Anime books are hot in the house right now.”

While there’s obviously plenty of learning going on in their house, Garcelle and her twin sons are also making sure to enjoy some family fun. The RHOBH mom recently took her kids to experience their first ever drive-in movie, as she captured on Instagram last month.
