Garcelle Beauvais’ Next Project Involves Whoopi Goldberg
The RHOBH cast member is "so excited" about her next major movie role.
Garcelle Beauvais has a major new film project in the works. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member is set to star in the upcoming Lifetime movie, Caught in His Web.
Inspired by a real-life case, the movie will center on three girls (played by Alison Thornton, Malia Baker and Emma Tremblay), who are stalked and tracked by a cyberbully known as Blake after he hacks into their computer. Garcelle will play the police detective who the girls enlist to uncover their tormentor’s identity and help end their nightmare.
In addition to featuring several notable cast members, the movie will also feature a famous face behind the scenes. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Whoopi Goldberg will executive produce the film, which will premiere next year.
Garcelle took to social media to share her excitement over the project. “It’s happening!! Thanks for breaking the news, @THR! So excited for you all to see #CaughtInHisWeb, coming to @LifetimeTV in 2022 ,” she wrote on Twitter on September 29.
She also retweeted an announcement from Lifetime, adding, “So excited.”
Meanwhile, Garcelle’s friend and fellow Bravoleb Asa Soltan Rahmati showed her support for the project. “Awesome!! Can’t wait,” the Shahs of Sunset alum wrote in response to the news.
