Gary King Has a Few Thoughts After Watching Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 4
The first mate revealed that he has “work” to do after seeing the show back.
After admitting that he didn’t watch Season 4 of Below Deck Sailing Yacht back when it aired, Gary King is now turning over a new leaf.
Following the two-part reunion, which took place in the Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen Clubhouse, the first mate is now reflecting on his third season on board Parsifal III.
Gary King looks back on Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 4
On the most recent season of the Below Deck series, Gary navigated a few complicated love situations. Though he was sleeping with stew Mads Herrera — who also had feelings for Alex Propson — Gary wasn’t thrilled when he found out his longtime flirt, Daisy Kelliher, was hooking up with his best friend, Colin MacRae.
Gary and Mads decided to part ways before they left the boat, and Colin and Daisy called it quits in their relationship as well after filming wrapped.
On Part 2 of the reunion, Gary said he was trying to get back to a better place in his friendship with Colin, but that things were still “rocky” between him and Daisy.
Gary took to Instagram after the reunion aired to share that he was actually “still friends with Colin and Daisy.” He also revealed that he had started watching the episodes back, and that he recognized he had “a lot of work and growing to do” to become a “better person.”
Fast-forward several days, and Gary has once again taken to Instagram to look back on the season.
“So we all know that [Below Deck Sailing Yacht] Season 4 wasn’t my best, and I know that and will work towards being a better person,” he captioned his post, which featured photos with the other crew members that were taken throughout the charter season. “With saying that I still had a great time with everyone and thought I’d share a couple of my favorite pics from the season.”
Gary King responds to fan questions
In the comments section of his post, Gary responded to fans who had questions about the latest season of Below Deck Sailing Yacht.
One fan wondered if Gary had decided to watch the entire season back yet.
“I have been, yes,” Gary said about watching the fourth season. “Almost finished it.”
When another commenter wondered where things stood between Colin and Gary, the first mate shared a positive update on their friendship.
“We are still good friends[,] which I’m happy for,” Gary replied.
