Joe Giudice's Special Birthday Gift to Daughter Gia Will Have You Tearing Up
The Real Housewives of New Jersey dad had an emotional tribute for his daughter's 19th birthday.
Joe Giudice will always be there to celebrate his daughters' greatest achievements, whether it's in person or in spirit.
The Real Housewives of New Jersey dad just sent daughter Gia Giudice a lot of love from Italy as she celebrated her 19th birthday on January 8. Joe shared a photo slideshow of some of his and Gia's most adorable moments over the years on Instagram in honor of her big birthday.
"These past years as your dad have been the hardest to watch you grow into your own person," Joe began his birthday tribute to Gia. "Honestly the longest years I have ever experienced to be away from all your success! I have made tons of mistakes so far."
Joe, who recently spent Christmas with Gia and her sisters (Gabriella, 15, Milania, 13, and Audriana, 10) in Italy, then shared that he will be giving his eldest a very special birthday gift this year. "I will shower you with love my firstborn, our special bond has never stopped and I thank you," Joe gushed. "I am always trying to be the best dad I can be because you, my little girl, you are the best daughter I could ever ask for. For this, I will always spoil you for all the years to come."
He ended the post, "Happy birthday, you will always be daddy’s little girl. Forever grateful."
Of course, Gia's mom, Teresa Giudice, also had the sweetest birthday wishes for her daughter, who is currently celebrating in Montreal, Canada, in a post on Instagram on January 8.
"Nothing has given me greater pleasure than being your mom. I am so lucky to have you as my daughter. You inspire me, teach me and ground me every single day! You have been such a joy as a child always making me proud, loved [and] WOW’d!! You are the greatest big sister and I appreciate everything you do for our family," Teresa shared in a post that featured a photo slideshow of pictures of Gia over the years. "I’m so proud of you Gia as you take on this crazy world! I love you! Happy Birthday my first baby! My forever baby girl! Love, Mommy."
Gia is currently a freshman at Rutgers University in New Jersey who aspires to become a lawyer. “I’m happy for her,” Teresa said of Gia during an interview with Page Six in November. “You know, this is her new chapter in her life, and I’m living vicariously through her ’cause I wasn’t allowed to go away. She FaceTimes me all the time. I love it. We’re really close.”
