Gina Provides an Update on Her Relationship with Travis: "5 Years of Beautiful Moments"
RHOC's Gina Kirschenheiter shared the touching message just months after her boyfriend, Travis Mullen, moved out of their townhouse.
Gina Kirschenheiter is letting the world know she still has love for Travis Mullen.
The Real Housewives of Orange County mom made the declaration via Instagram this week while celebrating a major relationship milestone.
“Happy anniversary,” Gina wrote in the August 16 Reel, which included heartwarming moments from her five-year romance. “I love you [Travis]... 5 years of life with you … 5 years of beautiful moments, 5 years of incredible memories, 5 years of laughter and smiles, 5 years of watching our children grow together, 5 years of loving you and everything that comes with you.”
Gina Kirschenheiter asks Travis Mullen to move out
Gina shared the tribute just several months after announcing she and Travis had decided to live separately. The decision was explored in RHOC Season 18, Episode 3, which showed Travis preparing to move out of the OC townhouse they shared with their respective children.
“I can’t believe how fast this happened,” Gina said while Travis cleared out his closet. “How are you feeling about everything?”
“I feel overwhelmed. I feel there is a lot to figure out,” he replied.
Travis, who has three kids from a previous relationship, suggested the move would be a big setback for their relationship. “I think it just goes from us being one single family unit to more of like, adult dating," he told Gina. "It seems like all you’re talking about is how to undo the decision that you made. It’s really confusing to me.”
Gina explains why she wanted to "live separately" from Travis
Gina — who shares three kids with her ex-husband, Matt Kirschenheiter — addressed Travis’ move in the Season 18 premiere, saying his ongoing divorce played a huge role in her decision.
“I feel like in my home it’s me, Travis, six kids, and Travis’s baggage. And it’s too much,” she said before touching on her children’s needs. “[The kids] need privacy. We went and we looked at houses, and we looked at what it would take to get into a house the size of our family, and we can’t afford it. Honestly, my gut is telling me that we need to live separately and see where the chips land.”
Gina says she and Travis are doing better after a "bad year"
Although they’ve yet to move back in with each other, Gina and Travis appear to be doing well. The former indicated this during the July 15 episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen.
”It’s good, it’s really good,” she said about her and Travis’ relationship. “You know, we had a bad year, and we’re still not through all of it, but I think we’re handling it well.”
