See What Has Gizelle Bryant Saying “Thanks” to Her Ex-Husband, Jamal Bryant
The Real Housewives of Potomac cast member gave a shout-out to Angel, Adore, and Grace’s dad, and we have all the details.
Gizelle Bryant recently spent some quality time with her twin daughters. Sharing a photo of herself flanked by her 16-year-old girls, Angel and Adore, The Real Housewives of Potomac mama wrote: “On Sundays we wear red.” Indeed, all three women donned cherry-hued dresses for the outing, and they captured their bright style moment in videos that Gizelle posted to social media. Equally as eye-popping as the fashion were the comments on Gizelle’s Instagram post, where she offered a hearty thanks to her ex-husband, Jamal Bryant.
As RHOP viewers know, Jamal and Gizelle don’t just share three children (the twins as well as their eldest daughter, Grace). They also share a whole lot of history and a commitment to activism. “Jamal and I met at the NAACP national headquarters. It was one of my first jobs out of school,” Gizelle told The Daily Dish back in 2020. “I was hired by Kweisi Mfume, who is now back in Congress; he took Elijah Cummings’ seat. And he also hired Jamal. So, Jamal and I have been in the trenches of trying to do civil rights and trying to make sure that we leave this world a better place.”
The two were married from 2002 to 2009. These days, “Jamal and I are as best of friends as we’ve always been [with] co-parenting [and] all that,” Gizelle said on Good Morning Washington in 2022.

The copacetic co-parenting continues. Jamal made a comment on Gizelle’s September 17 Instagram post, which featured videos from her red-tinged day with the twins. “Where’s the [thanks] to the photographer,” Jamal quipped in the comments. Gizelle replied: “Thanks Photog!”
Later, Gizelle shared photos from a restaurant outing with Adore. The mother-daughter duo sat at a booth surrounded by chic, neutral-hued decor. Adore wore a strapless denim dress, while Gizelle paired a white tank top with a sheer cover-up and beautifully styled blonde waves. “My Adore,” the proud mama wrote in the caption, adding a red heart emoji.
Though it’s not clear whether Jamal was on hand to photograph the latter outing, it’s not uncommon for the whole family to spend quality time together — especially when it comes to special events.
Back in June, Grace graduated from high school and her whole family showed up to support her. As Grace walked across the stage to receive her diploma, her loved ones cheered for her.
