Teresa Giudice Reveals How Milania Was Feeling Before Going to College in Florida
The Real Housewives of New Jersey mom also revealed the go-to advice she shared with her daughter before her next chapter.
Teresa Giudice just dropped off her daughter, Milania Giudice, in Florida to attend the University of Tampa. Though The Real Housewives of New Jersey mom was excited for her third daughter's next chapter, she was also sad to see another child leave the nest.
Milania was also feeling a range of emotions before heading off to school, as Teresa revealed in the August 22 episode of her podcast, Turning the Tables.
"She's nervous," Teresa shared on the episode, which was a collaboration between her show and the All About the Real Housewives podcast. "I'm like, 'Listen, just live your best life [...] work hard, play hard. Don't be nervous. I'm sure everybody's nervous.'"
Teresa added that she advised her daughter to "ask a lot of questions" while navigating her first year away. "If there's something you don't understand just ask questions," the mom of four continued. "I'm all about asking questions, I'm that type of person. If I don't know something, I'm gonna ask the question [to] better myself."
Teresa added: "I feel like out of all my kids, the kid that's the most similar to me is Milania, so I'm just like, 'Milania, ask a lot of questions.' That's what I did growing up — especially growing up with immigrant parents. And Milania [...] we always do things for her, so now [she's] gonna be on her own [and] it's a good thing."
Milania Giudice Opens Up About Leaving for the University of Tampa
In addition to her mom's account, Milania, revealed more about her feelings ahead of her next chapter while recording an August 26 TikTok.
In the video, Milania, whom Teresa shares with her ex-husband Joe Giudice, was teary-eyed as she mouthed the words from a TikTok trend sound, "Why are you leaving me? I'm going to miss you," as Teresa looked on from the background. Though she was clearly upset, Milania still made a point to laugh a few times during the clip.
"I start classes in 3 hours help!" Milania captioned the TikTok. "i don't want my mom to leave."
Inside Milania Giudice's College Bedroom
Though she was a little emotional separating from her mom for college, there were plenty of excited emotions, too, as evidenced in Teresa's Instagram series that revealed how Milania decorated her bedroom for school.
"And she’s off," Teresa captioned an August 26 Instagram series which first showcased Milania posing on her bed that featured a cream-colored bed frame and numerous colorful pillows.
Milania also decorated the space with white-framed photo prints with Chanel branding and a pink neon light-up sign that spelled out her name above her headboard.
"I know you will do amazing things and make Mommy so proud at the University of Tampa," Teresa continued in the caption of the post. "Today is the start of a new, exciting chapter! I love you so much and can’t wait to watch everything you accomplish over these next four years."
