Golnesa "GG" Gharachedaghi is embracing her next chapter with open arms. After confirming she's pregnant with her first child earlier this month with the assistance of a sperm donor, the Shahs of Sunset mom-to-be is letting fans in on her pregnancy, and that includes the joy of hearing her little baby's heartbeat.

"I was born with a rare hearing loss and only have 28 [percent] hearing. And as I've gone through life missing out on many amazing sounds, being able to hear the sound of my baby's heartbeat is truly the most beautiful thing I've ever been able to experience! So grateful!" GG wrote on Instagram.

In a 2018 Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen episode, she opened up about getting hearing aids (clip below). "Life-changing, but it's still a little hard" she explained, noting that she needs "clarification" not "amplification."

GG previously spoke to The Daily Dish about her hearing condition, noting that over the course of her life she's adapted by reading lips. In 2017, she opened up about how she'd adjusted her life both before and after the assistance of the hearing aids.

"It's not much of a difference, because even the doctor said my type of hearing loss was very, it's not a normal hearing loss. You're either born with it or you have, like, serious trauma to the brain. So obviously, I was born with it. I hear all the sounds kinda; I just can't understand words. I can't understand what the sounds are," GG explained at that time. "So these hearing aids, all they've kind of done for me is they've [made] the sounds even louder, but I still can't really understand what people are saying. So I just really have to read lips or trust my instincts on body language half the time."
