Golnesa "GG" Gharachedaghi Posted an Emotional Message with an Update on Her Battle with RA
The Shahs of Sunset cast member offered new insight into her health these days.
Golnesa "GG" Gharachedaghi has always been open with fans about her struggles with rheumatoid arthritis. The Shahs of Sunset cast member has had RA for more than a decade and recently shared on Instagram how she is doing these days with it.
"Having an autoimmune disease like RA is hard enough, but when it attacks you hard while you're pregnant and trying to raise a child, it's pure torture!! I've had RA for 13 years now and it's been nothing shy of a crazy roller-coaster ride. These 2 videos show the progress I've made in the last year. Doctors have to regularly extract inflammation (that yellow sappy stuff) to alleviate pain and stiffness," she explained. "Now imagine I have this inflammation in 42 joints all over my body. The second video clip is from today and you can hear my dad in the background trying to lighten the mood by telling a joke lol! So for everyone who talks s--t that my son has a nanny and my parents are always helping me, try walking in these shoes and tell me how you champion thru it like I do."
She added the hashtag "F--k RA."
GG welcomed her son, Elijah, back in 2020. During and after her pregnancy, she shared how having RA affected her while she was pregnant and, later on, how being on RA medications meant she couldn't breastfeed her son.
In addition to her honesty about her RA, GG has also been candid about her hearing loss, which she was born with. And earlier this summer, the Shahs of Sunset cast member opened up about how her dog, ZsaZsa, assists her with that as she raises her son.
"My Rottweiler is a Service Dog. She is my ears. She tells me when my son cries. She tells me when someone is at my door. She tells me whatever she hears because she knows I cannot hear it," GG wrote on Twitter. "Imagine needing an animal to help you help your own child. I love you ZsaZsa."
Part 2 of the Shahs of Sunset Season 9 reunion will air on Sunday, August 29 at 9/8c.
