Hannah Ferrier Has a Big Issue with Danny Zureikat Calling Out the Below Deck Med Crew
"Don't play victim," the #BelowDeckMed chief stew said of the deckhand.
Though Danny Zureikat has been at odds with many of his crewmembers this season of Below Deck Mediterranean, he seems to be getting along with the charter guests — almost too well. After finding out that Danny had been showing photos he took of the Tilted Kilt ladies to other charter guests, Chief Stew Hannah Ferrier informed Captain Mark Howard, who reprimanded the deckhand for his inappropriate interactions with the clientele once again.
Just as he did during the episode, Danny took responsibility for his actions on Twitter Tuesday night.
Hannah stood by her decision to bring that information to the captain and even said she wanted him to fire Danny.
Hannah also didn't take too kindly to Danny saying that after her confrontation with First Mate Bryan Kattenburg in the crew mess, she should now understand that he's not the problem.
Things unfortunately went from bad to worse for Danny during the episode as he fell very ill with a fever climbing above 100 degrees. However, not everyone had sympathy for Danny, such as his fellow deckhand Bobby Giancola, who thought Danny needed to "man up" and get back to work during the episode. Danny said that he most definitely would have been working if he could have and wished that his fellow crewmembers understood that.
However, Danny said that Ben Robinson showed great care for him as he helped the deckhand in his time of need.
Another one of Danny's tweets about the insensitivity of his crewmembers really set Hannah off. After Danny tweeted, "This episode proves I have been under attack from crew members. Instead of being a family we fight each other like enemies," the chief stew called Danny out for being hypocritical since he insulted her in last week's episode, saying someone needs to "feed" her "some makeup" because she has an "ugly personality."
Hannah also said that she did stand up for Danny and tried to help him, even after their spat.
The Ionian Princess crew might have a bigger problem on their hands not with each other but with the charter guests in next Tuesday night's episode of Below Deck Med at 9/8c. See what we mean, below.
