Hannah Ferrier Reveals What She's "Especially Loving" About Her Pregnancy
There's one thing the Below Deck Med chief stew never understood about pregnancy until now.
Pregnancy is not turning out to be what Hannah Ferrier expected at all. In fact, the experience is proving to be even better than she imagined.
The Below Deck Mediterranean chief stew took to Instagram to share an update on how she is feeling during her pregnancy as she gets ready to enter month seven. "I always thought people were crazy when they said they enjoyed being pregnant but I totally get it now!! I am absolutely loving everything about it!!" Hannah gushed in a post on July 26 that captures her proudly showing off her baby bump in a little black dress and white sneakers. "From the changes in my body, to the closeness in my relationship, to feeling kicks and movement and I’m especially loving falling head over heels in love."
Hannah announced exclusively to The Daily Dish in June that she is expecting her first child with boyfriend Josh, due to arrive in late October. Though the couple does know the gender of their little one and even already have a name picked out, they're keeping it a secret for now.
Just because Hannah is experiencing pregnancy bliss these days doesn't mean she hasn't had her fair share of challenging moments while expecting. Hannah previously told The Daily Dish that she had "really awful morning sickness" during her first trimester. "That was not a fun ride," she shared. "I kind of understood all the [Below Deck Med] guests complaining about seasickness after that."
Going through a pregnancy during the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic has also brought added stress. "I'm feeling a lot better now. I think adjusting to your hormones and the world being in a pandemic at the same time is a little interesting," Hannah told The Daily Dish. "Things that normally I would have kind of taken in my stride were making me really sad and upsetting me. Even just being in the supermarket and being over people and not being able to buy toilet paper and stuff, I would start crying in the middle of the supermarket. So I think my boyfriend's seen me cry more in these two months than he has our entire relationship, that's for sure. But yeah, hormones and pandemic at the same time is not the best recipe."
Earlier this month, Hannah also remarked on Twitter how emotional she is during pregnancy, tearing up over moments with her dog and while listening to the Black Eyed Peas' hit song "Where Is the Love?"
Thankfully, most of Hannah's pregnancy moments have been filled with joy. "I [CAN'T] STOP SMILING!!!!!!" Hannah shared on Instagram, along with a photo of her beaming, on July 2.
