Check Out Heather Altman's "Insane" 5.5-Carat Engagement Ring Designed by Josh (PICS)
The Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles agent's dazzling diamond sparkler features over 370 individual pave diamonds
When Josh Altman proposed to Heather Altman (née Bilyeu) on Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles on Season 6, Episode 12, which aired in 2013, she was taken aback by the dazzling splendor and size of the ring he presented to her.
"That's insane, that's huge!" Heather exclaimed about the D-color 5.5-carat sparkler set on an 18-carat white gold band. The stunning piece also featured over 370 individual pave diamonds.
Another interesting detail about the jaw-dropping jewelry? Josh designed it himself.
"I have a pretty good eye for jewelry so I thought of what my dream ring would be for Heather. The jeweler drew it out and we made some changes and eventually, I said, 'Alright, perfect! Go for it!,'" Josh shared with BravoTV.com back in 2013.

Josh added: "When he showed it to me, I flipped out—it was everything I had ever imagined." (You can revisit that moment in the video clip above).
Heather agreed with her now-husband about being taken aback by the ring's stellar size. "I honestly thought it was a fake ring because it was so perfect," she shared in the same 2013 interview. "If I had the chance to actually go out and buy my own ring, this would have been it. It's absolutely stunning."
In the video clip above, Josh was moved to tears about the ring and its meaning to him and Heather. "This ring it's completely different than all the other crap I have," he said. "It's not a stupid car or a stupid watch or suits or shoes or any of that bullshit, this is the significance of my love for Heather."
Inside Josh Altman's proposal to Heather Altman
Much like Heather's giant, sparkling ring, Josh put a lot of thought into his proposal, which surprised Heather.
In Season 6, Episode 12, Josh told Heather they would check out a listing before going to dinner. "Little does she know I've got other intentions," Josh stated in a confessional interview during the episode.
The realtor was overwhelmingly "nervous" to make the move, but he ultimately pulled it together when the two went out on the balcony area of the home. After noting that their gorgeous view reminded him of their first date, Josh reflected on their time together, saying it was the "best three years" of his life.
"I love everything about you," he said with a smile. "I love how you love my family, and they love you so much. I love how, when you kiss me, you kiss me three times. I love how, no matter how crazy my day is, I come home to you, and you make me smile."
Josh then got down on one knee and asked for Heather's hand in marriage. "Heather Bilyeu, I want to spend the rest of my life with you. Will you make me the luckiest man in the world?"
After Heather — who was also shaking — said, "Of course," Josh surprised her again by bringing out champagne and having friends and family waiting downstairs.
"I have wanted to do this for so long," Josh gushed in an interview. "Since the moment I met her three years ago I knew she was special, and I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with her."
