Heather Thomson: I Have a Book Deal, Too!
The RHONY star also isn't afraid to seek the help of a ghostwriter.
Might Heather Thomson become involved in BookGate too?
The Real Housewives of New York stars are currently embroiled in a feud over Aviva Drescher and Carole Radziwill's creative pursuits. (Aviva alleges Carole hired a ghostwriter for her book, What Remains.) And now, Heather is revealing she had the opportunity to write a book of her own.
"Funny enough, I actually got a book deal, too," Heather tells the Dish. "But I chose not to move forward with mine."
Heather's also not afraid to admit she sought out help for the project. "I did hire a ghostwriter," she says. "I had 15 meetings with him. We did this really great outline together, and I had to put it on the side burner because of my business and the show and I just didn't have the time."
She's hoping to revisit the project in the future. "When the time is right," she says. "Writing a book is not like writing a long email. I'm not doing it for a reason to go on the Today show. I would want to do it because I want to share my story. I want to share pointers about business. There's too many angles. It's almost more than one book!"
Do you think Heather should move forward with her book project? Tell us in the comments.
