Dr. Heavenly, Dr. Jackie, and Dr. Contessa Came Together to Get People Tested for COVID-19
The Married to Medicine doctors are on a mission to help combat the coronavirus pandemic.
Dr. Heavenly Kimes, Dr. Jackie Walters, and Dr. Contessa Metcalfe are doing their part to help battle the coronavirus pandemic. The Married to Medicine cast members recently joined forces to hold a mobile event offering COVID-19 tests to Georgia residents and urging people to learn their status.
All three doctors participated in an event held on July 10, taking to Instagram to showcase their efforts and encourage anyone in the area to stop by. The event is one of the latest held by Georgia Know Your Status, a 64-bus fleet of mobile testing sites headed by Heavenly’s husband, Dr. Damon Kimes.
“Kimes Family doing big things to keep us #coronasafe!” Contessa wrote in the caption alongside a clip of the trio manning a table at the event, also adding hashtags that read, “Know Your Status.”
Heavenly, Jackie, and Contessa will also be making appearances at future Georgia Know Your Status events, including one held in College Park on Saturday, July 18, as Heavenly shared on Instagram.
Damon first announced the launch of the coronavirus testing initiative back in June. “As a physician, I want to ensure that we prevent the spread of COVID-19 as much as possible," he said in a statement in the press release. "Testing will lead to quick identification of cases, quick treatment, and immediate isolation to prevent further spread of this virus."
Meanwhile, Heavenly has been on hand to assist her husband as he works to get more people tested. On June 26, she praised his latest efforts in the comments to a post on Instagram. "I’m so proud of you!" she wrote. "I love how you are really passionate about [people] and your career."
