Here's Where Lisa Vanderpump and Garcelle Beauvais Stand Today
Find out if the Vanderpump Rules boss is still on good terms with the RHOBH mom.
We have an update on one of Lisa Vanderpump’s most fabulous — and unexpected — friendships.
Although it’s been years since she exited The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, the restauranteur/philanthropist has maintained a few ties to both current and former cast members, including Sutton Stracke, Camille Grammer, and Joyce Giraud. But what about her friendship with RHOBH mom Garcelle Beauvais? Well, it appears they’re still on good terms.
Fans received the update on Friday, October 20, when Lisa shared her first Instagram post in more than two weeks.
“Helloooo I am back…” she captioned the selfie, “been working away, sending love to you all and praying for humanity.”
The post received comments from a number of Bravolebrities, including The Real Housewives of Orange County’s Heather Dubrow and Vanderpump Rules’ James Kennedy, both of whom left a series of heart emojis. But one of the most “liked” comments came from Garcelle, who suggested she had not seen Lisa in quite some time.
Garcelle Beauvais says she "misses" Lisa Vanderpump
“Miss you,” the Beverly Hills mom wrote, followed by a heart emoji.
“Miss you too!” Lisa replied.
The two never appeared on RHOBH together, as Lisa left the series in 2019, just a year before Garcelle joined the cast. Their friendship was confirmed in spring 2022, shortly after they were spotted hanging out at the grand opening of Lisa’s Vanderpump à Paris restaurant. The Bravolebrities snapped a few photos together, including one with Garcelle’s son, Oliver Saunders, who was hired to work at the Las Vegas eatery.
How Lisa Vanderpump met Garcelle Beauvais
Garcelle spoke about the friendship while attending NBCUniversal’s 2022 Upfront event, explaining how she and the RHOBH alum were introduced.
“She was actually putting on an event for Haiti at Tom Tom. Yeah, and so I got to meet her,” Garcelle told The Daily Dish. “There was Haitian music blaring. There were more Haitians than I knew there were in California that night there. So I just fell in love with what she was doing.”
Garcelle continued: “And so, we chatted and sat at the same table and talked… And I was like, ‘Hey, my son’s looking for a job in Vegas,’ not knowing that she even had a place in Vegas. And so it turned out, he worked for her. And we’re good.”
The Beverly Hills 'Wife said her friendship with Lisa was an “organic” development that had nothing to do with RHOBH.
“We don’t even talk about Housewives, her and I,” she explained. “We don’t even talk about it. She’s not on the show. What’s there to talk about?”
