Imposters is all about Maddie Jonson's (Inbar Lavi's) ability to trick three lovestruck hopefuls into marriage by transforming into their dream girl — and then running off with everything. In the clip above, we meet Maddie along with a few other characters from the show. And if you think you've seen some of these sexy faces before, you're not wrong. Before you start saying, "Wait, how do I know that guy?!" check out where you might have first fallen for these Imposters actors.
While Maddie is an expert at taking on different personas, Inbar is, too. She is most known for her roles on FOX's Gang Related and MTV's Underemployed, and she has also had guest-starring roles on Sons of Anarchy and Entrourage. You would have last seen her on TNT's The Last Ship as Lt. Ravit Bivas. But this leading lady also has appeared on the silver screen alongside Vin Diesel and Elijah Wood in The Last Witch Hunter, in For the Love of Money with Jeffrey Tambor and James Caan, and opposite Ray Liotta in Street Kings: Motor City.
BBC fan alert! Yup, all you anglophiles out there might know Rob from his role on BBC Two's television movie Frankenstein and the Vampyre. But that's not all — Agatha Christie die hards may know him from BBC One's recent mini-series And Then There Were None (based on the author's timeless mystery series). Plus, travelers may have caught him on stage in the West End performance of The Browning Version/ South Downs.
Comedy buffs will know Parker from his time on the Ana Gasteyer and Chris Parnell comedy Suburagatory, in which he plays the couple's jock neighbor Ryan Shay. You may have also spotted him in a lead role on FOX's Enlisted or in the comic book hit Arrow. Who could forget a face that cute?
Your eyes are not deceiving you (though our Imposters cast will): Stephen Bishop also played David Paulk in BET's Being Mary Jane. But you might know him from his breakout role in a little Oscar-nominated movie called Moneyball. He played none other than baseball legend David Justice alongside Brad effing Pitt.
Brian Benben is a TV legend in his own right — we mean, he had his own CBS series The Brian Benben Show in 1998. But you may also know him from the Emmy-winning HBO comedy Dream On or Roadies or guest-starring on Scandal. Like we said, he's kinda big in the TV world. He even starred on Private Practice with Bravo's Girlfriend's Guide to Divorce star Paul Adelstein, who also happens to produce Imposters. They do say the world is small...
You probably recognize Katherine LaNasa from several projects. Her TV endeavors include regular roles on HBO's 12 Miles of Bad Road, NBC's Deception, and USA's Satisfaction. But that's not all — she's also been on the silver screen in movies including Jayne Mansfield's Car opposite Robert Duvall and Billy Bob Thorton, The Campaign opposite Will Ferrell and Zach Galifianakis, and The Frozen Ground opposite John Cusack, among many others.
Indie fans may know Marianne Rendón from the film Gemini as well as her work on the New York Theater scene. Though this is her first television role, keep your eyes open, because you never know where else you'll see an Imposter.
Don't forget to get to know all the Imposters cast members during the premiere February 7 at 10/9c.
