Shannon Storms Beador Reveals Her Current Relationship Status with John Janssen (VIDEO)
The Real Housewives of Orange County cast member spilled the tea on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen.
The Tres Amigas are back! On September 13, The Real Housewives of Orange County besties Tamra Judge, Shannon Storms Beador, and Vicki Gunvalson reunited in the Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen Clubhouse. As expected, the appearance was worth whooping it up for. Iconic moments were revisited and shady questions were asked. Including this one: Is Shannon dating John Janssen?
Shannon dated John, a businessman, for three years. When John broke things off in 2022, Shannon reported that she was “blindsided” by the split. However, the two have remained on friendly terms and even hang out together as friends.
Back in June, for example, John and Shannon both joined Tamra and her husband, Eddie Judge, for dinner at Tao Asian Bistro. And in August, Shannon and John went to a club. Shortly after the club night, Shannon reported that she is taking things “one day at a time” with John. And when she appeared on WWHL this week, she provided another update.
Is Shannon Storms Beador dating John Janssen?
During a round of speed questions, which you can watch in the clip above, Andy asked Shannon, “Are you currently in a relationship with John Janssen?” Right away, Shannon shook her head and gave viewers the scoop.
“No,” the entrepreneur responded. “[We’re] absolutely only friends.” When Andy pointed out that Emily Simpson had hinted at an “undercover relationship” between Shannon and John, Shannon held fast to her initial response.
“Emily doesn’t know anything about me,” she insisted. “[John] is watching my dog, Archie, right now, which is very kind, and we have a friendship,” she said.
“I thought she meant Archie comics,” Andy smiled, but nope! Shannon was referring to her beloved dog. In case you’re curious about that relationship, Shannon and her four-legged bestie are still doing great, taking regular walks together and even having pool parties at home.
Speaking of which, Shannon’s home life looks a little bit different these days. Her twin daughters, Adeline and Stella, have both officially left the nest.
Stella was accepted to the University of Southern California this year, but she will kick off her college career in Paris as part of the school’s transfer program. Meanwhile, Adeline is enrolled in Parsons School of Design in New York City.
“And so the empty nesting begins,” Shannon captioned a recent Instagram post. “Stella is officially off to Paris. Archie and I are incredibly sad. Archie and Stella have a special bond and he keeps going into Stella’s room to look for her. I am so proud of my girls and beyond excited to see where they are going, but these first few days are extremely hard!!!”
