When Jackie Goldschneider appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen in April, she described exactly what it’s like to be married to Evan Goldschneider. “It feels so good,” she enthused. “It’s hot!” In case it’s not clear, the state of Evan and Jackie’s marriage is strong — and the couple is feeling strong too. Strong enough to go hiking!
In recent Instagram posts, The Real Housewives of New Jersey couple shared a peek inside their alfresco family adventures. It’s clear that fresh air, sunshine, and a little altitude suit Jackie and her crew!
Jackie and Evan Goldschneider travel to Wyoming
The New Jersey family recently traveled to Wyoming, where they posted some breathtaking photos of their outdoorsy good time.
On July 2, Jackie shared a photo of herself and Evan posing together in sporty workout gear. The mountainous views of Jackson Hole spread out behind them. “High on life,” Jackie wrote.
She returned to Instagram on July 3 to share photos from a family hike. Jackie, Evan, and their four kids posed in a gorgeous flowery hilltop field. “Less WiFi, more connection,” Jackie wrote. Evan shared a similar snap from the family hike, writing, “Family time [and] some fresh air.”
On July 5, the family posed for another striking photo in Yellowstone National Park. “Don’t go chasing waterfalls, unless you’re at Yellowstone,” Jackie quipped in her caption. The photo showed the Goldschneiders in front of a gorgeous gushing waterfall on a sunny day.
Jackie’s Father’s Day Tribute to Evan Goldschneider
Jackie also shared some sweet family photos on Father’s Day. She posted a carousel of images that showed Evan playing basketball with the kids and taking them to sports games, the beach, and even the shoe store.
“Happy Father’s Day to the number one guy in MY group!” the mother of four wrote in her caption. “Thank you for being the best daddy to our babies. We all love you so much!!”
Evan’s Support for Jackie Goldschneider
The Weight of Beautiful author has been in recovery from a long-standing eating disorder, which Evan opens up about in the clip above. “I think it’s great that she’s doing something about it,” he says. “But it’s not going to be an easy process.”
He adds that he told his wife, “Whatever you need to do, I’m there for you. I’ll support you.”
During her recent appearance on WWHL, Jackie shared an update. “It was difficult for a while, and I was trying to put on a happy face, but I would say for the first eight months of the recovery… it was difficult,” she said. “Because I put on a lot of weight, and I wasn’t that comfortable. And then I turned a corner.”
These days, Jackie said she’s “so proud” and “so happy” with the progress she’s made, and she hopes she can help others who are struggling.
