Jacqueline Laurita Gives Insight into How Son Nicholas Is Adjusting to the Cross-Country Move
The RHONJ alum gives fans a glimpse of the family's new life in Nevada.
Jaqueline Laurita and her family are officially settling into their new lives in Nevada, and that means finding new stomping grounds — but the Real Housewives of New Jersey alum also must take into account her son Nicholas' autism. Luckily, the 10-year-old seems to be taking the move in stride as evidenced by a trip to get his hair cut at a salon in his new town.
"Nick was such a good boy on his first trip to a new hair salon! They were great with him! Nick is happy with his haircut, so that makes us happy too!" the Las Vegas transplant and dedicated mom wrote. "Sometimes it is hard to find a good place that can work well with kids on the spectrum, especially with sensory issues. I think we found a good one!"
Several weeks back ahead of their big move out west, the former Garden State mama applauded her son's progress. "I can’t believe this little cutie pie, Nicholas, is 10 YEARS OLD today!! We are so proud of his hard work, the many accomplishments he continues to make and what a sweet young man he is growing up to be! HAPPY BIRTHDAY NICHOLAS!" she wrote in June when he celebrated his birthday. "We love you VERY much! XOXO!"
Jacqueline, along with husband Chris Laurita and their two sons, CJ and Nicholas, headed out west this summer. They have family out there, and Chris had new career opportunities come his way out in the Las Vegas area, Jacqueline confirmed, which made the move come at just the right time. She's also hoping eldest daughter Ashlee Holmes Malleo will soon make the trek to visit her.
