Jacqueline Laurita’s Son Nicholas "Is REALLY Loving School" in Nevada (Photos)
The RHONJ alum is sharing an update on her son's new life and progress with autism since their move.
Now that Jaqueline Laurita and her family have started to settle into living in Nevada, after a massive cross country move earlier this summer, The Real Housewives of New Jersey alum has offered up an update on how her son Nicholas has been adjusting to his new school. Jacqueline has always been candid about her son's life living with autism and that remains the case as he adjusts to life outside of Las Vegas and he kicks off 5th grade.
"Nick is REALLY loving school and he’s adjusting well! He loves the playground (park) the most, but he also loves taking pictures of the school, jumping on the mini trampoline to Frank Sinatra, and learning to count coins!" she shared on Instagram, alongside photos and video of him doing some of his favorite things. She added some key hashtags to the post to really punctuate how well Nicholas is doing these days: #5thGrader, #ProudMom, #HappyKid, #HappyMom, #autismmom, and #autism.
Jacqueline, along with husband Chris Laurita and their two sons, CJ and Nicholas, headed out west this summer. They have family out there, and Chris had new career opportunities come his way out in the Las Vegas area, Jacqueline confirmed, which made the move come at just the right time. She's also hoping eldest daughter Ashlee Holmes Malleo will soon make the trek to visit her.
In fact, ahead of their big move out west, the former Garden State mama applauded her son's progress. "I can’t believe this little cutie pie, Nicholas, is 10 YEARS OLD today!! We are so proud of his hard work, the many accomplishments he continues to make and what a sweet young man he is growing up to be! HAPPY BIRTHDAY NICHOLAS!" she wrote in June when he celebrated his birthday. "We love you VERY much! XOXO!"
