Wait, Is Ken Todd Managing James Kennedy's Music Career?
The SURver opens up about his latest projects during the #PumpRules After Show.

James Kennedy is a bit of a Renaissance man. Not only is the Brit a SUR bus boy, but he's also a DJ and a rapper. When he stopped by the Vanderpump Rules After Show on Monday, he opened up about his roots as a musician and also weighed in on the musical chops of his co-workers.
Long before James landed in Hollywood, the U.K. native's dad quickly realized he had an ear for music. His father caught him listening to Oasis as a kid, so he tried out a bunch of instruments. His family moved to Ibiza when he was a teen, which is where he first discovered music production. Later, he chose an internship at Interscope Records over going to college, and the rest is history. Now, the SURver/DJ/rapper is readying an album, and he's enlisted the help of his fellow SURvers. "I've done stuff with Maxwell Todd," he said. "Lisa's son will be featured on my album. Max is actually one of the most talented guitar players I've ever met in my life." But it's not just Max who's making a cameo. James confirmed that Lisa's hubby Ken Todd is also helping to manage James and produce the album. And, let's not forget that he's also recruited Lala Kent to contribute some vocals. "I mean the main reason [I wanted to work with her] was cause she's hot," James explained. "The second reason was I heard her humming to herself and I knew that girl was a star, and she's actually very talented."
James definitely has the support of the team he's assembled, but Jax Taylor remains skeptical of the Brit's abilities in the booth. "Honestly, I can sit back and hate on him all I want; I've come to the point where I've realized I've got to pray for that boy," James said of his SUR rival. "He's 38, pushing 40, and still bartending tables for Lisa Vanderpump."
Speaking of Jax, watch the SUR veteran offer up his opinion of James, below.
