Asa Soltan Rahmati Reveals What She's Getting "Auntie" Janet Jackson and Her Baby
The #Shahs designer has the perfect present in mind for the expecting music icon.
Back in May, it was reported that Janet Jackson is expecting her first child. The 50-year-old pop icon and her husband, Wissam Al Mana, will be parents by year's end, and Asa Soltan Rahmati couldn't be more excited about Janet's baby joy. The Shahs of Sunset fashion designer opened up about the news when she stopped by The Daily Dish offices on Monday.
"It's so incredible that Auntie Janet is pregnant," Asa said. "Everyone is so excited and happy for her. It's a wonderful thing. I mean, it's incredible. Amazing, yes!" Of course, Asa has a very close connection to Janet as she's been dating the singer's nephew, Jermaine Jackson Jr., for almost six years. Still, that doesn't mean she's gone out and gotten her anything to celebrate the happy news just yet.
"Isn't too soon to get something? I don't know that many rules about babies [and gifts] either. I need to Google this," she said. "Maybe a couple of silk kaftans for the pregnancy."
Well, if anyone knows a thing or two about kaftans, it's Asa (as you can see, below).
