Another Suspect Arrested in the Home Burglary Case Involving Dorit Kemsley
The RHOBH designer was among the celebs Jason Emil Yaselli allegedly stole millions from.
Another suspect has been arrested in connection with the string of home burglaries that targeted a number of celebrities, including Dorit Kemsley, Usher, and Adam Lambert.
A Beverly Hills real estate agent, Jason Emil Yaselli, has been arrested, accused of of stealing from the homes of well-known celebs by working with fellow suspect Benjamin Eitan Ackerman to attend open houses and steal items. They would then allegedly use the proceeds from the items to pay down Yaselli's credit card, according to Variety.
The real estate agent was arrested on Wednesday (August 21), and he, along with Ackerman, faces upward of 50 charges, including 32 counts of money laundering, 14 counts of burglary, and charges of conspiracy and identity theft, the outlet reports.
Yaselli is being held on $1.7 million bail and will be be arraigned on Friday (August 23). As for Ackerman, he was re-arrested last Friday (August 16), pleaded not guilty, and was later released on $1.2 million bail, according to jail records obtained by Variety.
Back in January, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills designer addressed Ackerman's arrest in a statement on Twitter, writing at the time, "Crazy and true. So glad this guy is finally off the streets. I can sleep better now."
As for Dorit, she and husband, Paul (aka PK), recently purchased a $6.475 million mansion in Encino. Their former Beverly Hills mansion remains on the market for $7.499 million.
