Go Inside Jax and Brittany's Home — and See the Very Weird Thing They Did to the Shower
“This is the most embarrassing thing I’ve ever seen,” Jax admitted of what Brittany added to the bathroom.
The Valley’s Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright have invited audiences into their home, giving us a front-row seat into their sunny and beautiful abode.
Before news of their recent separation, which resulted in Brittany leaving the home (perhaps just temporarily), the former Vanderpump Rules couple were all smiles when welcoming viewers for the exclusive home tour.
Take a look at Jax and Brittany's living room, dining room, bathrooms, bedrooms, and more in their house in the Valley.
Jax and Brittany's Home Tour
Brittany brought their son, Cruz, along for the home tour, first leading fans into their living room and dining area, rooms Brittany admitted they “absolutely never use.” Well, almost never.
“One time, I was hungover, and I did pass out on that couch,” Jax admitted.
The modern and homey 4,600-square-foot home — which boasts a whopping seven bathrooms — has white walls and white brick accent walls with tons of family photos to add color to the dwelling. A brightly lit white kitchen with an island shares an open layout with a living area, where Brittany said the family spends “a majority” of their time.

The living area showcases an entertainment wall with floor-to-ceiling shelves painted light blue and white walls with large black-and-white photos of Cruz. But, Jax said, his “pride and joy” was the couch.
“We’re always here,” said Jax. “We’re big movie buffs, we’re big TV buffs, we hang out on the couch pretty much all day. If we’re not doing anything, we’re on the couch.”
Cruz even began dozing off there as they continued the tour.
As for the toddler, he not only has a naturally lit bedroom with dinosaur wallpaper and matching gray drapes but also his very own playroom, which doubles as a guest room when Jax’s sister comes for a visit.
Jax's Favorite Room in His Home
Jax said his “favorite room” in the house was a former spare bedroom he converted into a gym during the COVID-19 pandemic. The room features free weights, exercise machines, rollers, resistance bands, and a functional trainer, among other things. A King Kong movie poster adds to the fitness vibe.
Attached was another ensuite, one Jax said had “never been used.”
“This shower is actually where we keep Brittany’s pillow collection,” Jax said, pulling the shower curtain to reveal a large pile of throw pillows. “This is the most embarrassing thing I’ve ever seen, and, in fact, after this video, I’m gonna throw all this out.”
Furry, uncovered, and holiday-themed pillows created a pile in the tub as tall as Brittany.
“I love throw pillows,” Brittany said, laughing and closing the curtain. “Let’s keep that shut!”
The tour then moved into Jax and Brittany’s main bedroom, which included hardwood floors, white walls, and a balcony overlooking the backyard. Brittany joked it was where “the magic sometimes happens” and where Cruz sometimes sleeps with his parents.
“This is actually all three of our bedrooms if we’re being honest,” said Brittany.
But perhaps one of the most desirable features was a spacious walk-in closet with top-to-bottom shelves for shoes and purses. Still, both agreed they needed “more space” for their belongings.
Brittany said her favorite room was the bedroom’s large, attached bathroom with a freestanding bathtub and a walk-in shower which had black, marble walls. Jax joked that while wife and son took up most of the residence, he maintained a small corner of the bathroom sink reserved for his watches and cologne.
“And the garage,” Brittany interjected.
Jax and Brittany's pool area
Jax and Brittany called several spaces their favorite but agreed that the pool area was their “actual favorite place.” Looking down from the couple’s balcony, viewers could see a swing set and play area for Cruz separate from a gated area for the home’s in-ground pool, pool house, outdoor bar, and barbecue area.
“We entertain a lot, and our backyard’s set up for entertaining, and everybody comes over here and gathers in the pool house and all the kids play in the pool,” said Jax.
A kid’s slide and basketball net connect to the pool, while dark beach loungers with striped pillows accentuate the decking. A cabana-style, furnished pool house had a matching lounge swing hanging from the tall ceiling, hardwood floors, a mounted television, and a fireplace.
“I kind of come out here when I wanna get away from everybody,” said Jax. “I just come out here and watch the game on the swing.”
Lush flowering trees surrounding the yard give the family tons of privacy.
