Jax Taylor just got a brand-new piece of art to hang on the walls of his new apartment. Thanks to this, he'll never be able to forget one of the most famous (or infamous?) moments in Vanderpump Rules history.
Jax's manager had the original white chunky knit sweater framed for the SURver, the Vanderpump Rules bartender recently shared on Twitter. "This is so cool!" Jax gushed in the tweet.
In case you need a refresher on why that item of clothing most definitely deserves to be framed, let's take a trip back to Season 1 of Vanderpump Rules, when Jax and then-girlfriend Stassi Schroeder were off-again. Wearing that white chunky sweater, Jax decided to crash Stassi's Las Vegas celebration of the national holiday that is her birthday as a grand romantic gesture. That backfired big time, because not only were Jax and Stassi not together at that point, but Stassi's new boo, Frank, was there to start a rumble with Jax. Soon enough, that sweater came off and ended up on the ground as Jax and Frank charged at each other. Tom Sandoval also ended up with his shirt off for reasons still unknown.
We're still not really sure why Jax decided to wear something for a night out on the town that seemed more appropriate for a cozy night in. But since he was known to sport a chunky sweater all over the place around that time, it's pretty clear that it was his sartorial signature.
Here's Jax rocking a gray chunky knit sweater at the Bravo Upfront in 2013.
Ah, what a time to be alive, right? We think this sweater deserves more than just a frame; it's worthy of a spot at the Smithsonian.
Jax has since ditched the chunky sweater in favor of some more dapper threads. Check 'em out at this season's SUR photo shoot, below.
