Jeff Lewis Cut off All Communication with Gage Edward Amid Legal Battle

Jeff Lewis just shared a major update on his legal troubles with ex-partner Gage Edward. The Flipping Out dads are currently involved in a custody battle over their 3-year-old daughter, Monroe, as well as a more recent lawsuit over a $125,000 loan that Jeff allegedly did not fully pay back to Gage. During the March 31 episode of his Radio Andy show, Jeff Lewis Live, Jeff revealed that the situation has taken another turn. 

“I think a lot of you are going to be very proud of me,” Jeff told his listeners. “On Thursday, after Gage sued me on Monday, sent me flowers on Tuesday, he is still communicating with me. So, he sent me an update: ‘Monroe had a great rest of the day, she’s sleeping peacefully, blah, blah, blah.’ I’m like, you know what? No more of this. So I sent him a text, I said, ‘Considering we have two lawsuits pending, I would prefer all communication from here forth be through attorneys. Do not text me anymore.” 

Jeff further explained his decision to cut off communication with Gage, saying that it was a difficult move to make. 

“I’ve been communicating with him for a year, it just doesn’t help me emotionally,” said Jeff. “I just don’t want any more communication, unless it’s an emergency.” 

He went on to say that although he ultimately no longer wants any contact with Gage outside of the two lawsuits, he did have second thoughts. 

“I’m proud of myself, because I’ll tell you, that there was a part of me that wanted to communicate with him.”
