This Is Where Jennifer and Bill Aydin’s Marriage Stands After RHONJ Season 13

During Season 13 of The Real Housewives of New Jersey, Jennifer Aydin and her husband, Dr. Bill Aydin, were facing a trying time in their marriage. The twosome attempted couples therapy and had some heated discussions about Bill’s habit of secluding himself in the pool house. (More on that later.) But where do the New Jersey parents stand today? Here’s what we know.
The Current Status of Jennifer Aydin and Bill Aydin’s Marriage
In a series of recent Instagram posts, Jennifer shared a peek at what the couple has been up to lately. And from the looks of things, they’re spending plenty of time together (not in the pool house).
Most recently, the RHONJ cast member posted a photo of herself and her husband dressed up for a date, and the image oozed fairy-tale romance. Jennifer looked regally glam in a hot pink minidress and a glittering choker. By her side, Bill looked dashing in a crisp black-and-white tuxedo. “Princess Jasmine Barbie with Her Prince Ali Ababwa,” the mother of five quipped in her caption.
Earlier in the summer, Jennifer shared a peek at a fun family outing that called for matching attire. “White party,” she captioned the snap, which showed her, Bill, and all five kids standing by a pool and wearing the color du jour.
In another pic, Jennifer and Bill were dressed up for a night out. She wore a teal dress with elegant cape sleeves, while he rocked a light blue suit jacket, fitted black pants, and sharp designer sneakers.
Are Jennifer Aydin and Bill Aydin still in couples therapy?
Though Jennifer and Bill tried it in the past, Jennifer said during Part 2 of the RHONJ Season 13 reunion that she has no plans to return to couples therapy.
“I gotta say that one therapy session did wonders for both of us,” the New Jersey mama said. “Things have been so great between us that I’m just, like, not gonna push it.” (Hear her spill more tea on couples therapy in the clip above.)
Does Bill Aydin still spend a lot of time in the pool house?
Bill’s affinity for spending time in his pool house has come up on RHONJ on more than one occasion. It first became a hot topic during Season 9, and more recently, on Season 13, Jennifer shared why it upsets her that Bill retreats to the poolside spot so often.
“This is the thing: You come home, you go straight to the pool house,” Jennifer said to Bill during their session with a psychologist. “You go in there, and you stay in there until three hours, and you come in once we’re all done finished eating dinner. That irritates me. When I see his car in the camera, I’m like, ‘Uh, what about a hello?’”
But as of the Season 13 reunion, Jennifer shared that she has a better understanding of Bill’s pool house habits. “He explained the pool house to me,” she said. “He said, ‘Look, Jen, I’m all day with patients. I’m on, on, on. When I walk into the house, I know there’s you, there’s a nanny, there’s your dad, there’s four kids, now there’s a dog. I need to unwind a little bit.’ And I have to say, I’ve been using the pool house a lot at night, and now we just hang out there together.”
Jennifer added she’s “so happy” and “wouldn’t trade [Bill] in for anything.”
