Jennifer Aydin’s Son Justin Is Celebrating a Big Milestone (PICS)
The Real Housewives of New Jersey mom announced: "It's official ..." while sharing a new photo of her college freshman.
Jennifer Aydin had a "good ol' fashioned" reason to celebrate on September 20. The Real Housewives of New Jersey mom and her family gathered in the kitchen of their sprawling home, which you can see in the clip above, to have a sweet treat in her son Justin Aydin's honor. As Jennifer announced, her son had just checked off a major milestone — and this one comes shortly after another big event.
Back in August, the mom of five shared how she was preparing to send Justin off to college. Before he headed off to the University of Connecticut, Justin had an epic family dinner at home, which Jennifer documented on Instagram with a sweet note.
"Your family will always be here for you, no matter what!” she wrote in her August 21 post. “And we’re going to miss you like crazy!! Especially me.”
Luckily, Jennifer recently got to spend some quality time with her college freshman, who just had a special birthday.
Jennifer Aydin's son Justin is officially 19
In a September 20 Instagram post, Jennifer wrote: "It's official! I have a 19 year old! He's away at school and we were lucky enough to have him for just enough time to cut a good ol' fashioned ice cream cake, just with the family, just us." She added: "Hey [Justin] It's yo' birthday!"
An accompanying slideshow showed Justin, his siblings, and his grandparents, all enjoying the aforementioned treat. It was a decadent confection that came drizzled with chocolate, and it had silver candles shaped like a 1 and a 9.
Some of Jennifer's RHONJ castmates hopped into the comments to send their birthday wishes. Dolores Catania and Danielle Cabral both wished Justin a happy birthday, while Gia Guidice shared some love, too. "Happy birthday," Teresa Giudice's daughter wrote, adding two red heart emojis.
Earlier this summer, Jennifer marveled over the passage of time after Justin graduated from high school. “I can’t believe I have a kid going to college!!!” she captioned a June 23 post, reminding her son that “mommy will always be here” for him. “My, how time flies — so try to enjoy every running moment cause time won’t stand still for anyone! Justin, I’m beyond proud of you!"
