Jennifer Pedranti's Boyfriend Ryan Reveals He Wants to Marry Her — See Her Response

Hear why the thought of marrying Ryan is "scary" for Jennifer in a sneak peek of August 30's new episode of RHOC.

By Allison Crist

Jennifer Pedranti and Ryan Boyajian's relationship has been a big topic of conversation amongst The Real Housewives of Orange County cast throughout Season 17, but on August 30's upcoming Episode 12, it's Jenn and Ryan who are doing the talking.

How to Watch

Watch The Real Housewives of Orange County on  Peacock and the Bravo App.

More specifically, as the above preview clip shows, Jenn and Ryan are discussing the possibility of marriage. Read on to get an idea of what's to come on the brand-new episode.

Jennifer Pedranti's Response to Ryan Boyajian Bringing Up Marriage

The sneak peek begins with Jenn asking Ryan, "Why do you of all people who have not been successful in relationships — why do you want to tie it up?"

"Because it's you," Ryan responds. "I want to be with you all the time, and you know that."

Jenn is happy to hear this, but also notes, "Sometimes thinking about being married to you is scary for me."

Why? "Because I hate the fact that somebody else came between us," Jenn said, referencing the fact that Ryan hooked up with someone else when he and Jennifer were on a break.

Ryan sees things differently, though. "But somebody didn't come between us," he replies in the preview. "You can't say because we didn't know if we were ever gonna get back together and we decided to take a break, that somebody came between us. I just don't think that's an accurate statement."

Jennifer Pedranti and Ryan Boyajian's Break, Explained

Providing some context to Jenn and Ryan's conversation, a RHOC flashback plays that shows Ryan explaining to Tamra Judge and Eddie Judge that approximately six months into their relationship, he and Jenn took a break for "about four or five weeks."

And while Jenn admits that there were "zero rules or parameters around Ryan and I being on a break," Ryan is aware of why she's hurt. As he puts it in a confessional interview, "Did she expect me to go carry on and connect — let me back that up — have sex with somebody else? She did not."

Jennifer Pedranti's Final Thoughts on Marrying Ryan Boyajian

Back in the conversation with Ryan, Jenn tells him, "I understand we were on a break, but now this puts inside me this place of doubt."

He encourages her to "choose to stay present in the moment" rather than "let [her] mind run," but she argues that that logic is flawed. "I can't do that stuff all the time. This is real life. We do have seven people between us and it is forever," Jenn says, referencing both her and Ryan's kids from their previous marriages. "I don't worry about me. I want to know that my man has it so f-cking worked out that I'm never moving my kids out, that I never have to set the kids down and say, 'Your f-cking mom failed it again.'"

See how Ryan responds — and how the couple's conversation comes to a close — by watching the complete RHOC sneak peek above and then tuning into Episode 1712 on August 30.
