Jennifer Pedranti Shares an Update on Her Divorce and Reacts to Tamra Dissing Her Relationship
The RHOC newbie also opened up about her decision to become a foster parent.
Since she joined the cast of The Real Housewives of Orange County for Season 17, Jennifer “Jenn” Pedranti’s love life has been a topic of conversation for fellow ’Wives Tamra Judge, Gina Kirschenheiter, Emily Simpson, Shannon Storms Beador, and Heather Dubrow.
And though she has been open about the fact that she had an emotional “affair” with her now-boyfriend, Ryan Boyajian, when she was still married to her ex, Will, Jenn has denied that the two were ever physical before her separation.
However, Jenn’s close friend Tamra has questioned the story, and she’s also had doubts about whether Ryan can be faithful.
During her Clubhouse debut on the July 19 episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, Jenn clarified where she stands with Tamra now and also revealed why she’s not legally divorced yet. Plus, she opened up about her role as a foster parent.
Jennifer Pedranti’s Divorce Update
Jenn has been separated from her husband for several years now, but the two are not yet legally divorced. However, she assured viewers (and host Andy Cohen) that she’s in an amicable place with her ex.
“Our divorce is like the most ongoing thing in the world, but Will and I are good,” she said on WWHL. “We’re just focused on the kids.”
The yoga instructor also noted that her ex approves of her current relationship, and she shared an update on Will’s own dating life. “He’s OK with Ryan and I. He’s in a relationship [and] happier than he’s ever been,” Jenn said. “He just is very private. He’s very private.”
Jennifer Pedranti’s Reaction to Tamra Judge’s Relationship Criticism
On RHOC Season 17, Tamra has been critical of Jenn and Ryan’s relationship, bringing up rumors that he used to like to date married women. After filming Season 17, Jenn is still confused by Tamra’s comments for one key reason.
“Tamra’s talking sh-t about Ryan’s past, and Ryan had fun in his single days. But my question was always, ‘Why are we talking about this now? Where is this coming from now?’” Jenn wondered about the critiques regarding her boyfriend of more than two years. “That’s not my relationship.”
She also noted that Tamra’s comments have affected their friendship of “many years,” even now.
“Be a friend,” Jenn said when asked how Tamra could be a more supportive pal to her.
Why Jennifer Pedranti Became a Foster Parent
In addition to highlighting her relationship with Ryan, Jenn has also been letting viewers in on her busy life as a mom of five on RHOC Season 17.
On the Season 17 premiere, Jenn revealed that she adopted her youngest son, Dominic, about three years earlier. Before he was officially adopted, Dominic was in foster care. On the following episode, Jenn shared some insight into why she decided to foster children with her ex-husband.
“It was so important for me for my kids to know not everybody grows up in this bubble in Orange County,” she said in an interview on the episode. “And I want [them] to know there’s other kids without, or who have needs, that we can help.”
Fast-forward to her WWHL appearance, and Jenn talked more about her life as a foster parent and why she wanted to legally adopt Dominic.
“Long story short, it was a way that we could give back. And I never planned on adoption, it just happened,” she said. “And I thought we would take these babies in, give them a little bit of hope, reunify them with [their] mom, and for [the] most part, we did. And your heart breaks a million times, but you know you’re doing something right. You know you’re doing something good.”
