Teresa Giudice confirmed recent reports that her husband hopes to become an MMA (mixed martial arts) fighter when he is released from custody. "Yes, it is true," Teresa said during a recent interview with ET, adding that "he does" have the body of an MMA fighter.

The Real Housewives of New Jersey mom also shared that she and her daughters (Gia, 18, Gabriella, 15, Milania, 13, and Audriana, 10) are "doing well" and "hanging in there" as the patriarch of the family remains in the custody of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) while awaiting a final decision regarding his appeal of a judge's deportation order. "They are pretty amazing, Strong, young woman," Teresa said of her daughters. "I guess they get it from their mommy."

Joe has been in staying in "a facility in western Pennsylvania, which houses immigration detainees" since he was released from federal prison in March. His request to be released from ICE custody and allowed to return home to his family in New Jersey amid his deportation battle was denied last week

Joe has since requested that he be released from custody and sent to Italy as he awaits a final decision in the case "so that [he] can begin working and contributing financially to his wife and four young children, something that he has repeatedly stated he intends to do upon his release from custody," the Giudice family attorney James J. Leonard Jr. certified in a legal document obtained by PEOPLE.

Of course, if Joe does end up getting deported, it will be devastating for his family, Teresa explained in the above video exclusive to Bravo Insider.

"If he gets deported, he'll never be able to go to their graduation[s], celebrate their birthdays, anything," she said of their four daughters. "He's going to be missing out on so much. The girls adore their father, and no child should have to go through what my daughters are going through. They should have their daddy here."

We'll see more of how Teresa and her family are dealing with this difficult time in the new season of RHONJ premiering Wednesday, November 6 at 9/8c. Watch a preview of Season 10, below.
