On Friday (October 11), Joe Giudice was released from custody and will now await his appeal in his ongoing deportation case in Italy. Since his release to Italy, his daughter Gia Giudice has offered up the first glimpses of her father, marking the first photos The Real Housewives of New Jersey fans have seen of him in several years.

How to Watch

Watch The Real Housewives of New Jersey Season 14 premiere May 5th at 8/7c on Bravo and stream next day on Peacock.

Since his release, he's FaceTimed with wife Teresa Giudice, as well as Gia and her sister, Gabriella. Now daughter Milania Giudice has taken to Instagram to share her love and support for her dad alongside throwback pics. "See you soon daddy. I love you beyond words," she wrote on social media in a caption that received comments from her mom ("Love you") and RHONJ'Margaret Josephs (who posted several heart emojis).

Milania also showered her dad with love on her Instagram Stories: "I love you to infinity and beyond. Can't wait to see you."

Giudice family attorney James J. Leonard Jr. confirmed to PEOPLE that while Joe is no longer in custody they "are still fighting and it is his desire to return home to the United States to be reunited with his family."

The video above breaks down every turn the Giudices' legal matters have taken over the years, including how Teresa has been handling the matter and raising their four daughters following her own jail time in 2015.

Teresa previously opened up about how detrimental it would be for her daughters to not have their father at home if Joe does, in fact, get deported in a video exclusive to Bravo Insider, below.

"If he gets deported, he'll never be able to go to their graduation[s], celebrate their birthdays, anything," Teresa shared. "He's going to be missing out on so much. The girls adore their father and no child should have to go through what my daughters are going through. They should have their daddy here."
